Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring ARRT certification and a CA CRT License.
Details
- 13-week travel contract in an acute care hospital X-Ray department
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Rotating weekend requirement every 3rd weekend
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- ARRT (XR) certification required
- CA CRT License required (license required if applicable)
- CA Fluoroscopy License required (license required if applicable)
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
- Works independently using sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures in a timely manner
- Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
- May assist in orienting other staff to the department
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
