Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract at an academic medical center in Missouri, requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and an active MO or Compact RN license.

Details

• Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting within a university hospital system
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Level II NICU experience required
• Floating within cluster required
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 50% holiday coverage required
• Charting via Cerner (preferred, not required)

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
• Minimum 2 years of total nursing experience required
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Candidates residing within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Cerner charting experience is preferred but not required
