Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract at an academic medical center in Missouri, requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and an active MO or Compact RN license.
Details
- Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting within a university hospital system
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Level II NICU experience required
- Floating within cluster required
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- 50% holiday coverage required
- Charting via Cerner (preferred, not required)
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
- Minimum 2 years of total nursing experience required
- Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Candidates residing within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate
- Cerner charting experience is preferred but not required
