Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology unit, requiring chemotherapy certification and a valid MO or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Medical Surgical Oncology unit in an academic hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)
• Shifts scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Floating to other Med/Surg units is required
• Every other weekend (EOW) work is required
• Coverage required for 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy (chemo) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience and 1 year of Med/Surg Oncology experience required
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the full travel pay rate
• Role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• Holiday coverage is required for assigned holidays throughout the contract period
