Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Greeley, CO, requiring at least 2 years of critical care experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
- Mixed patient population including cardiac, minor trauma, respiratory, and mildly hemodynamically unstable patients
- All patient rooms are negative pressure capable and equipped with ceiling lifts
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
- Weekend availability required per unit needs
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required to med/surg and sister units within the region to meet facility needs; travelers will be notified in advance when floating is required
Requirements
- Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of critical care (PCU or ICU) experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have approximately 2 years of PCU or ICU experience
- RTO is capped at 10 days for the duration of the assignment
- RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–12, and October 25–November 4
