Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a cardiovascular (CV) experience-required travel position, with on-call responsibilities and a day shift schedule.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 7 rooms
- Handles 10–25 cases per day
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- On-call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- 2 weekends required per 6-week schedule
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Cardiovascular (CV) OR experience required
- Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Green scrubs are provided by the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have sufficient OR experience
- Upon accepting an assignment, the unit manager may assign the traveler to an Emergency Team, requiring them to remain at the facility during an emergency event or serve on the relief team
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process
- Local candidates (within 65 miles of the facility) are not eligible for this position
