Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring telemetry skills, Epic experience, and night shift availability in Illinois.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac and pulmonary conditions such as AFib, CAD, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, and COVID
• Key procedures and skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, bedside cardioversion, chest tube management, IV insertion, and emergency response
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or relevant RN experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
