Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry Float RN for a 13-week night shift contract in Leominster, MA, requiring a permanent MA RN license and at least 3 years of telemetry and cardiac telemetry experience.

Details

• Float position covering all inpatient units, including ER boarders, as needed
• Med/Surg and Telemetry unit environment with cardiac drip management
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Scheduling is based on unit needs; block schedules cannot be accommodated
• Shift start flexibility required — must be available to start up to 4 hours before or after scheduled start time based on critical department need
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Permanent MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS and CPI certifications preferred
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry and cardiac telemetry experience required
• Must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Two professional references required for consideration, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Manage patients on cardiac drips within Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• EKG test required (pass/fail) as part of the onboarding process
