Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step-Down Unit position requiring a CA RN license, with night shift scheduling and weekend coverage requirements.
Details
- Step-down unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week cycle
- Floating may be required to like units or lower acuity units within the organization (excluding the ED)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Step-down or comparable acute care nursing experience required
Additional Information
- At least one holiday and the associated holiday weekend must be worked
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
