Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and hands-on GE equipment proficiency for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA.
Details
- Located in the Radiology Department on the 1st floor of a hospital-based MRI unit
- GE 450W 1.5T scanner used for imaging
- EMR/PACS: Meditech and Centricity PACS
- Procedures include brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdominal, and cardiac MRI scans
- Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Weekend call rotation approximately once per month
- Two weeknights of call per week, typically from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- MR Registry (ARRT or ARMRIT) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment required
- Virginia MRI license required if applicable
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Cardiac MRI scan experience is preferred
- Navy scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Cons
Resources for your unit some are helpful others are not. If you have to use a timesheet for your pay the CNC doesn’t like that hopefully agency can upgrade that.
