Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 3 Trauma, Joint Commission Accredited hospital in Paris, TX, requiring at least 2 years of OR experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) department in a 154-bed acute care hospital
- Level 3 Trauma Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center
- Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
- Level 1 NICU on site; most complex hospital within a 70-mile radius
- Recognized in the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- AHA certifications required prior to start date
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation takes place on Mondays
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed full time elsewhere during the assignment
- Paris, TX is located approximately 110 miles northeast of Dallas near the Texas-Oklahoma border, offering a low cost of living, historic downtown, and easy access to campgrounds along the TX-OK border
