Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including Trauma Level I, surgical, and neurological ICU care, and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR — experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Active AHA or RQI certifications required (copies must be provided)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU staff experience required, specifically with trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• Flu vaccine required — only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted; personal and religious declinations will not be accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• A competency test must be completed within 24 hours of being contacted — ensure your email address is current
• Candidates residing in the following NY counties are not eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• RTO must be requested at the time of consideration
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
