Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a rapid response travel contract requiring an active IL RN license and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Details

Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department
Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
4-week contract

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS

Additional Information

Provide direct and indirect patient care within the Emergency Department, including assessment, treatment, and care coordination
Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient flow through the ED
Communicate effectively with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status, diagnostic results, and symptom progression
Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
This is a rapid response/crisis position with an urgent need for placement
