Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and experience with Siemens MR equipment for a 3x12 day shift weekend position.

Details

MRI department in an acute care hospital setting
Friday through Sunday, 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patients is required
Epic and PACS experience preferred
Siemens MR equipment is used in this setting
No on-call required
Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position

Requirements

ARRT (MR) and BLS required
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
Experience at a Level I Trauma Center or teaching facility preferred
Proficiency with Siemens MR equipment required
MRI safety knowledge, including implant research and adherence to scanning protocols, required
Experience with anesthesia and pediatric patients required
Epic and PACS experience preferred
Compact or KY state license required if applicable
At least 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

May float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of profile submission — RTO requests submitted after that point will not be approved
Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must disclose this at the time of submission, as rehire eligibility will be verified
