Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Sacramento, CA, requiring a CA RN license and at least one year of recent L&D experience on night shifts.

Details

  • 13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit in Sacramento, CA
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • 36 hours per week
  • EMR: Epic

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Active BLS and Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required — pending certifications are not accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent L&D experience within the last 3 years
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • BSN or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of recent L&D experience (within the last 2 years) preferred
  • 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years preferred

Additional Information

  • Local candidates are accepted — local and travel rates are the same
  • Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers who have worked on assignment(s) totaling two years within any rolling period with lapses of less than three months must take a minimum 90-day break before returning
