Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a minimum of 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active NH or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital nursing float pool
• Med/Surg and telemetry patient population
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating may be required to a nearby sister facility in Franklin, NH
• No on-call requirements
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required — temp licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• NH Stroke Scale (NHISS) certification required prior to start
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience required; Critical Care RNs with demonstrated Med/Surg acuity and ratio experience will also be considered
• Must provide 3 professional references upon commitment (2 must be from leadership; no peer or coworker references)
• Driver's license required

Additional Information

• A Dysrhythmia Exam is administered during onboarding with a preferred passing score of 80%
• Weekly orientation provided
• Former permanent staff are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 12-month break in service
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply but are subject to a local pay rate
• Candidates must submit any requested time off (RTO) at the time of consideration
