Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a BSN, Level I Trauma experience, and a PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) unit
• May float to the GI unit or Center One Surgery Center
• Schedule may include a mix of 8-hour (11p–7:30a) and 12-hour (7p–7:30a) night shifts
• Two weekend nights required per 6-week schedule (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Charting system: Cerner

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact RN license required
• BSN required
• Minimum 2–3 years of OR experience in a Level I Trauma setting
• Liver and kidney surgical experience required
• Trauma certification required
• Scrub and circulate experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• One summer and one winter holiday call shift required (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• One summer and one winter holiday work shift required (8 or 12 hours depending on staffing)
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different pay rate
