Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring prior Cath Lab experience and availability for call.

Details

• Work in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab performing all structural heart procedures
• Unit includes 2 cath lab rooms, 10 pre & post beds, and 6 holding beds
• Staffed with 20 team members including RNs and CVTs
• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts and call requirements
• Patient ratios are 1:1 in the lab, 2:1 in holding, and 4:1 in pre/post areas
• Uses GE imaging equipment, Volcano, Rotoblator, Angiojet, IABP, Impella, Penumbra, and Inari systems
• Documentation performed in Cerner and the Merge hemodynamic system
• Shift runs from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able to take call
• Structural Heart or EP experience preferred
• Experience with procedures such as heart caths, peripheral caths, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, pacemaker/ICD implants, EP studies, ablations, PFO & ASD closures, and carotid stents preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Florida-based positions

• Advanced cardiac program includes upcoming resident and cardiac fellow training starting this summer

• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
