Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment serving a broad patient population across all age groups.

Details

  • 13-week travel contract in a hospital respiratory therapy unit
  • Serves a broad patient population spanning neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Patient ratio of 1:30
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • Every other or every third weekend required
  • On-call required
  • Floating required
  • Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted, though a lower pay rate applies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • Active RRT credential required
  • Current certifications required: ACLS and BLS
  • NC state license or Compact license required in hand at the time of consideration — license required if applicable
  • All required certifications must be in hand at the time of consideration
  • 1 supervisory reference within the last year required
  • Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

  • Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
  • Black scrubs are required
  • Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
  • Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but will be compensated at a reduced rate
