Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment serving a broad patient population across all age groups.
Details
- 13-week travel contract in a hospital respiratory therapy unit
- Serves a broad patient population spanning neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Patient ratio of 1:30
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Every other or every third weekend required
- On-call required
- Floating required
- Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are accepted, though a lower pay rate applies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Active RRT credential required
- Current certifications required: ACLS and BLS
- NC state license or Compact license required in hand at the time of consideration — license required if applicable
- All required certifications must be in hand at the time of consideration
- 1 supervisory reference within the last year required
- Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered
Additional Information
- Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
- Black scrubs are required
- Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
- Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but will be compensated at a reduced rate
