Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a combined Med/Surg and ED role requiring dual-unit competency and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Details

Hospital-based position working across both the Med/Surg floor and the Emergency Department
Candidates must be capable of managing a standard patient floor load as well as ED patients
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
13-week contract with potential flexibility in assignment length
Blocked scheduling (grouped shifts) will be accommodated when possible

Requirements

Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a Compact state currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
Experience in both Med/Surg and Emergency Department settings required
Minimum one year of RN experience required
Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

Nurses in this role must be comfortable transitioning between floor nursing duties and emergency patient care within the same shift
