Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring full L&D and postpartum experience, with night shift availability and an Oregon RN license.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend requirement, or a minimum of 8 weekend shifts per contract
- Staffed according to AWHONN Staffing Standards, working alongside break RNs and Resource RNs
- Floating may be required, including CPO sitter coverage in-house and float to a low-risk family birthing unit at a northern campus
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required (pending license not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Full labor and delivery experience, including postpartum care, required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; proof of address required
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days for the contract
- All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
