Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, with TNCC and PALS certifications required.

Details

• Emergency Department (ER) setting in a hospital environment
• Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (3x12 or 4x12 shifts)
• Evening shift, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required; candidates with 2 years must have experience in a high-volume or trauma facility
• 3 years of ER experience preferred
• Two supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid all substances that could result in a positive drug screen prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
