Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level II NICU position at a women's and children's pavilion, requiring 2 years of Level III NICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Work setting is a Level II NICU within a dedicated Pavilion for Women and Children offering comprehensive maternity services
Patient population includes neonates 22 weeks gestation and greater, with conditions such as prematurity, BPD, nutritional risk, and ROP exams
Equipment used includes conventional ventilators, oscillators, bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and standard nasal cannula
No surgical, ostomy, or trach cases are performed in this unit
Charting is done in Epic (experience required)
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule
Floating required to the Family Maternity Center/Postpartum (babies only)
13-week contract

Requirements

Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration

Additional Information

This position is located at the Pacific Campus, less than 1 mile from the Colby Campus
All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
Local candidates are not accepted for this position
Candidates with prior work history at any Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose the location and dates of that employment
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Scrubs may be any color; reddish-orange is not permitted
Parking is facility-paid
All requested time off (RTO) should be submitted upfront
