Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a TN or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of Epic EMR experience.

Details

Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a, 3x12-hour shifts
Med/Surg Telemetry unit in an acute hospital setting
Patient population includes those with high oxygen demands, dialysis patients, AFib, and post-cardiac catheterization cases
Step-down level care (no vents or pressor support); drips include heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
Telemetry monitoring required
Floating to other qualified units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs
Every other weekend required, with flexibility based on unit needs
Epic EMR used; minimum 1 year of experience required

Requirements

Active TN RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the specific campus they are applying to in order to be eligible for this night shift Med/Surg Tele position; candidates under 50 miles are not eligible

My phone showed her number as spam and I think blocked some of the texts I wish it hadn't have done that but that was nothing on her end all on mine so make sure that you have your settings to allow the calls and texts from spam
