Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position requiring ACLS and NIH certifications, with day shifts and every other weekend availability.

Details

Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in a hospital setting
Adult and geriatric patient population with a focus on cardiac, respiratory, and DKA diagnoses
Patient ratio of 1:4 on a 22-bed unit
Specialized procedures include Precedex and insulin drips, high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, chest tubes, and post-cardiac cath lab/TCAR care
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30)
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required as scheduled
Floating required within the specialty and to lower acuity units as needed
On-call is not pre-scheduled; may occasionally be placed on-call status during low census situations

Requirements

Active RN license in Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and CPI
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; 3 years preferred
Experience in an intermediate care, step-down, or similar acute care setting

My phone showed her number as spam and I think blocked some of the texts I wish it hadn't have done that but that was nothing on her end all on mine so make sure that you have your settings to allow the calls and texts from spam
