Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and availability for all shifts across a 13-week contract.

Details

• Hospital Emergency Department setting
• Variable shifts required — must be available for all shifts (days, evenings, and nights)
• Shift options include 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) or 8-hour day, evening, or night shifts
• Schedule is based on an 80-hour, two-week pay period
• Floating to Long-Term Care or ICU departments required as needed
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

Additional Information

• Orientation consists of two days: Day 1 covers HR onboarding (fingerprinting, ID badge, policies and procedures, safety, risk and quality management, and IT); Day 2 is dedicated to EMR training
• Orientation begins at 7:30 AM on Day 1
• Quick-start position — candidates must be available to meet the target start date (Monday start, no exceptions)
• COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position
