Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel contract in California, requiring Epic proficiency and a valid CA PT license.

• Home health setting providing patient care in community and residential environments
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• 13-week contract duration
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Current California PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Active BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding work environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal, teamwork, and conflict resolution abilities
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment protocols, applying evidence-based practice to clinical care, and collaborating with key stakeholders
• Role involves training and educating others, including the ability to develop competency assessments and training materials
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered but should contact their recruiter regarding local rate eligibility
