Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a 13-week travel contract, requiring post-op recovery experience and the ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), with both weekday and weekend hours
• On-call responsibilities are shared between 2 RNs, rotating Mon/Tue/Fri–Sun one week, then Wed/Thu the following week
• Patient population includes those recovering from general surgery, GI endoscopy, and post-operative procedures

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• Current certifications must be up to date and available
• Experience recovering patients from general surgery, GI endoscopy, and post-op procedures required

Additional Information

• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any products that could cause a positive result, including CBD, prior to and upon arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
