Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of PACU experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a regional hospital setting
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to assignment start)
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in the post-anesthesia setting
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans; documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
