Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care position in Wichita, KS, requiring a valid KS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita may be required
• EMR: Cerner OneChart

Requirements

• Active RN license — KS or compact state license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA accepted)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB De-Escalation Training required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Nursys verification required prior to start
• Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
• A copy of Driver's License is required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Holiday commitment is required
• Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies — candidates living within the radius may be eligible at a different rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
