Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department travel contract in Wichita, KS, with a high-volume behavioral health patient population and night shift schedule.

• Emergency Department at a hospital setting in Wichita, KS
• High volume of behavioral health patients seen in this ED
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active RN license in KS or a compact state currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• TNCC required (renewed every 4 years)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A renewed yearly; Groups B–F renewed every 2 years)
• CPI/MOAB High-Risk training required: online portion must be completed prior to start; on-site portion completed during orientation
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's License copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Nursing care provided in a high-volume ED with a significant behavioral health patient population
• Blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible for a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
