Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment at a large academic medical center in Boston, MA, with experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures required.
Details
- Work in a large, high-volume IR division at an academic medical center covering IR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures, Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions
- Collaborative team includes nurses, advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, and tech assistants
- Procedures include angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominal interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, TIPS, dialysis access/fistula work, and Y90/SIRT
- Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology
- Active ARRT certification
- Valid Massachusetts State Radiography License required — no conditional or pending licenses accepted (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification (AHA only — no other providers accepted)
- Experience in neuro, cardiac, or vascular surgery strongly preferred
- IR experience required, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are available
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking is available at the Boston location; public transportation and paid public parking lots are nearby (approximately $17–$22/day)
