Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down/Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency, telemetry strip interpretation, and the ability to float across multiple campuses.

Details

• Hospital step-down unit with a surgical and telemetry patient population
• 39-bed unit with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5
• Epic EMR experience required
• IV starts and telemetry monitoring are core components of the role
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Floating required across multiple campuses, all within 15 miles of the main campus

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• IV Start and Telemetry certifications required
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Epic EMR experience required
• Step-down or telemetry nursing experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• 13-week contract
• Travelers are not eligible for Premier Health Employee incentive programs
