Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of IR experience in a mid-to-large facility, including independent scrubbing and circulating proficiency.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit with 5 patient bays
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Department operates Monday through Friday; Wednesday availability is required
- Call coverage required Monday through Friday 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of IR experience in a mid-to-large facility
- Experience must include scrubbing, circulating, and the ability to function independently
- Proficiency required in: angiograms, AV fistulograms, port placements, PICC lines, HD catheters, kyphoplasty, biopsies (ultrasound and CT-guided), drainages (paracentesis/thoracentesis), lumbar punctures, myelograms, steroid injections (joint and spinal), IVC filter placement and removal, and Baker cyst aspirations
- Active MA Radiologic Technologist license required (if applicable)
- Current ARRT (R) registration and BLS certification required
- Travel experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Active MA license required for consideration (if applicable)

- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a discounted local rate
