Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a Diagnostic Radiology position requiring prior travel experience and ARRT certification in a multi-site acute care setting.
Details
- Diagnostic Radiology department within an acute care hospital setting
- Serves all age groups including inpatient and outpatient populations
- Procedures include diagnostic X-ray imaging, OR C-arm, fluoroscopy, portables, ortho, and general radiography
- Familiarity with OR environment and adaptability to various vendor X-ray equipment required
- Rotating shifts with a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts depending on coverage needs — candidates must be agreeable to all shift lengths
- 5 shifts per week, 40 hours per week
- Weekend availability is required
- On-call is not required but is available as an option
- Weekly schedule is posted 4 weeks in advance
- May float to other facility sites as needed; will not float to more than one site per day
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a local pay rate
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a matching specialty
- Current ARRT certification required
- Active MA state license required (license required if applicable)
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
- Must be available to work weekends and variable shift lengths (8, 10, and 12 hours)
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- 2 recent supervisor or manager references in a matching specialty required for consideration
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging across a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, OR, ortho, fluoro, and portables
- Flexibility and adaptability to various vendor equipment is essential for this role
- Orientation is held on a bi-weekly basis
- RTO must be submitted at the time of consideration; no more than 5 days of RTO will be approved
- Block scheduling is not allowed
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
- Candidates who have previously worked permanently at any Cambridge facility are not eligible for this position
