Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical/Orthopedic (3rd Floor) travel position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring a minimum of 1 year of MS/Ortho experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical/Orthopedic unit (3rd floor) in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract
• Ortho and spine specialty patient population
• Epic EMR
• Weekends required as needed by the facility
• No call requirements
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal is already scheduled
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical experience, specifically with ortho and spine specialty
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Facility-provided light blue scrubs
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but should be aware that a local rate applies
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts; after that, they must separate from the facility for at least 1 year or transition to a facility outside the 50-mile radius
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested, but all missed time must be made up during the assignment
