Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN - OR Circulator for a Surgical Services position in Wyoming, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR circulator experience and active ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Surgical Services department with 4 operating rooms
• Procedures include general, orthopedic, urology, OB/GYN (including C-sections), plastics, podiatry, and ENT
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Charting via Cerner EMR
• Equipment includes da Vinci and MAKO robotic surgical systems
• Day shift schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• On-call required one night per week and one weekend per month (minimum)
• Floating within the Surgery Department, including to PACU, may be required

Requirements

• Active WY RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulator experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 references required for consideration: one supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Perform circulator duties across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Orientation during the first week includes Cerner training; first call shift will be paired with an experienced staff member
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
