Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WY or compact RN license, a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Details

• 22-bed Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• At least 2 RNs on the unit at all times
• 12-hour night shifts; available shift windows include 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 12p-12a, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a
• Weekend shifts required
• No floating to other units or departments
• T-system EMR in use
• Pyxis medication dispensing system utilized
• Telestroke technology available on the unit

Requirements

• Active WY state or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• 2–3 day unit orientation plus hospital orientation provided
• Candidates must provide own scrubs; no specific color required
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
