Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position at a hospital-based LTC facility in Hilo, Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and an active Hawaii RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Long Term Care (LTC) facility
- 8-hour shifts on a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Flexibility in shift scheduling is required with no shift preference guaranteed
- Procedures performed include assessments, medication administration, wound vac care, tracheostomy care, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, CPAP care, ADL assistance, and admission/discharge processes
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required by start of assignment — candidates without one must apply upon acceptance of offer
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
Additional Information
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of their assignment — this appointment takes place at the Hilo Employee Health office
- Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date in order to complete the Employee Health appointment on Friday morning
