Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Director of Case Management position requiring at least 3 years of case management leadership experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

  • Hospital-based Case Management Department setting
  • Provides oversight of case management, discharge planning, and utilization review
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
  • 13-week contract
  • Position may require working beyond standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours
  • On-call availability may be required to respond to organizational, patient, or employee needs

Requirements

  • Active MT or compact RN license currently in hand
  • BSN required; Master's degree in Nursing, MBA, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume case management program in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills including planning, delegating, monitoring, and performance improvement
  • Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office), EMR systems, and internet applications
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Candidates must reside at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

  • Responsible for assisting with planning, directing, organizing, and staffing the Case Management Department in compliance with regulatory agencies, DNV standards, and hospital executive directives
  • Leads collaborative departmental approach to long-range strategic planning, care design, and organizational policy development
  • Continuously assesses, measures, and improves departmental performance and resource management
  • Provides leadership, direction, and supervision to management, medical staff, and clinical staff across organization-wide case management activities
  • Case management leadership experience is required for consideration
