Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care facility in the Jordan Valley area using Epic EMR.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in a Respiratory Therapy unit
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used in this position

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience required
• Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required; pending licenses will not be accepted - license required if applicable
• Active certifications required: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP, and PALS; pending certifications will not be accepted
• A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility, as determined by permanent address on driver's license

Additional Information

• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Travelers working in this region are expected to float within their designated zone and are responsible for securing housing that meets this requirement
