Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Goldsboro, NC, requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and night shift availability.

Details

• 28-bed PCU unit with 20 telemetry beds and 8 step-down beds on a 3rd floor hospital unit
• Adult cardiac and med-surg patient population including CAD, CHF, and NSTEMI cases
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with approximately 3-4 admissions per day
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• On-call required: 1 shift per pay period
• 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI-A certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of progressive care unit (PCU) experience required
• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Point of care testing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
