Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with Epic proficiency and Ortho Trauma/Craniotomy experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a Level II Trauma facility in Bend, OR.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting at a Level II Trauma Center
- Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Required skills include Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, and general Trauma cases
- On-call required: 2 weeknights every 6 weeks, plus one weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour day or night shifts) every month and a half
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active OR RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred
- Ortho Trauma, Craniotomy, and Trauma experience required
- Level II Trauma experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position
- Proof of address required for consideration
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Pending OR RN license accepted
- Maximum of 7 days of time off allowed during the 13-week assignment; all scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
- Local candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are not eligible for this position
