Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Plano, TX.
Details
- Works across a 600-bed acute care hospital (Level 1 Trauma) and a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, covering departments including Neuroscience, ICUs, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, and Ortho & Spine floors
- Rehabilitation therapy team consists of 27 FT PTs, 19 FT OTs, and 9 FT STs
- Therapy equipment includes walking aids, bikes, parallel bars, and treadmills
- EMR system is Meditech
- Day shift only: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Requires working 2 weekend shifts per month on a rotating basis
- No on-call or floating requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings required
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Candidates must have active experience within the past 6 months in the PT role
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates whose experience consists solely of SNF, outpatient, pediatrics, or school settings will not be considered
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)

- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
