Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications, with night shift availability and telemetry experience.

Details

• 42-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedic cases
• May care for IMCU patients based on census needs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Schedule is 4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends and holidays required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to units of like or lesser acuity may be required

Requirements

• Active NC RN license or a compact RN license recognized in NC
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPI certification required (may be completed prior to start)
• Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips required
• Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Unit team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US, and unit secretaries
• Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application to be honored
• Local candidates are not eligible — candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
