Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Neuro Transplant ICU position requiring at least one year of nursing experience, an active RN license, and AHA-issued certifications.
Details
- Position is in a Neuro Transplant ICU within a hospital setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active OK state RN license or current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license required
- Required certifications (AHA-issued only): BLS and ACLS
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Full Date of Birth (DOB) and full SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex under general supervision
- Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with exams and minor diagnostic procedures
- Engages patients and families in care planning and discharge education
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- NIHSS certification should be noted on your application profile if held
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility may return after a 6-month separation period; prior contracts may only be extended once, for a maximum total of 26 weeks
- Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screen, background check, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon acceptance of an offer — start dates will not be adjusted for non-compliance
