Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring an active NH or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of acute care telemetry experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 3 shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required to sister campuses in Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted (local pay rate applies)

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or compact RN license — must be in hand at time of consideration; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience in an acute care setting
• RRT certification required
• Valid driver's license with address matching demographics on file
• Copies of current certifications required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Weekly orientation provided
• 3 professional references required upon commitment (2 must be from leadership — manager or charge RN; no peers or coworkers)
• Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; the July 4th holiday weekend cannot be approved
• 13-week contract
