Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and availability for a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule on night shifts.

Details

• CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) unit within a regional medical center
• Night shift schedule rotating between 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours) one week and 4x12-hour shifts (48 hours) the next week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Valid driver's license with address matching permanent residence required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 charge nurse or higher and 1 supervisor, both completed within the past year
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Must be willing and able to work the rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule; inability to accept this schedule may result in cancellation
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered, but must be declared upfront — no changes will be accepted after submission
• Must be available to work at least one major or minor holiday during the contract
• Travelers who have worked within this health system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
• Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; paired travelers will not be placed on the same shift or unit
