Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience and a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a hospital in the Atlanta, GA area.
Details
- Position is in a Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services unit with a focus on NICU patients
- 12-hour night shifts, scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week on a 13-week contract
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience within specialty
- NICU experience required
- Active Georgia RRT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- NBRC RRT certification required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a minimum 2-year break before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
- Candidates may be contacted for a pre-screening interview prior to facility review
