Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-Op position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating across ortho, bariatric, general, and plastics cases.
Details
- Hospital Pre-Op/Pre-Operative unit setting
- Patient population includes orthopedic, bariatric, general surgery, and plastics cases
- RN is required to both scrub and circulate
- 13-week contract
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Pre-Op RN experience required
- Experience scrubbing and circulating required
- Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a 2-year break before returning to this facility as a traveler
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- References are not required upfront but will be needed during the compliance process
