Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 12-week night shift travel contract at a Women's Pavilion in Georgia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience and NRP certification.

Details

• Works in a Neonatal ICU at a women's pavilion hospital setting in Lawrenceville, Georgia
• Cares for very high-acuity neonatal patients from 22 weeks gestation and greater
• Specialized therapies include total body cooling, conventional ventilation up to High Frequency Oscillator Ventilation (HFOV), inhaled nitric oxide, vasopressor and sedation continuous IV drips, central line maintenance, and neonatal resuscitation
• 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a)
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, specialty-specific NICU experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being considered
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• A 12-week contract
